Used OEM parts shipped to Canada
We ship to every Canadian province and territory. The part is the same unit a US customer would get — pulled from a real donor vehicle, matched to your VIN, and covered by the same warranty. What changes north of the border is the paperwork and the time, and this page is about both.
Canada delivery is confirmed at quote. Canadian orders are placed with a specialist — call, or send a quote request — and the delivery, duties and total are set out in writing before you pay.
How a Canadian order works
- 1
You send the VIN, we confirm the part
Same as any order. A specialist matches the unit to your vehicle before anything is charged — and for a cross-border shipment that matters more, because sending the wrong part back across a border is nobody’s idea of a good week.
- 2
We quote the landed cost, in writing
The part, the freight and the taxes and charges that apply to your province, before you pay. Ask for it explicitly if it is not in front of you — never assume the sticker price is the landed price on a cross-border order.
- 3
It ships, and it clears customs
Engines and transmissions usually move as freight rather than parcel, on weight alone. Your shipment travels with a commercial invoice describing exactly what it is and what it is worth, which is what the border agency assesses.
- 4
It is delivered, and you fit it
Freight normally means a delivery appointment rather than a truck appearing unannounced. Inspect it before you sign — a damage claim is straightforward on the day and difficult a week later.
Customs, duty and tax
Anything crossing into Canada is assessed by the Canada Border Services Agency. Two separate things can apply: duty, which depends on where the part was originally manufactured, and tax (GST, and HST or a provincial tax depending on your province), which is assessed on the value of the goods.
Most parts we ship came off vehicles built in North America, and parts of North American origin are generally treated favourably under the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement. That is the general position and not a guarantee about your specific unit: origin is determined per part, and it is the border agency's call, not ours.
Ask us for the landed cost before you pay. We will tell you what applies to your province and your part rather than leave you to discover it on delivery.
Shipping by province
Ontario
Toronto · Ottawa · Hamilton · London
Ontario is the shortest run from our US warehouses of any province — most of its population sits within a day of a border crossing at Detroit, Buffalo or Niagara.
Quebec
Montreal · Quebec City · Laval · Gatineau
Quebec requires French on consumer-facing paperwork. Tell us at quote and we will make sure your invoice and shipping documents meet that.
British Columbia
Vancouver · Surrey · Burnaby · Victoria
British Columbia is served from the west, through the Pacific Highway and Abbotsford crossings, rather than across the continent.
Alberta
Calgary · Edmonton · Red Deer · Lethbridge
Alberta charges no provincial sales tax, so a part landed in Calgary carries less tax than the same part landed in Toronto.
