Used Transmissions for Sale
Used OEM automatic, manual and CVT transmissions, tested for fluid condition and shift quality and matched to your VIN before they ship. Each unit shows its own warranty term — warranty up to 1 year. Most parts ship to all 50 states in 3–5 business days. A transmission has to match your engine and drivetrain exactly, so tell us your VIN and we will confirm before you pay.

The fluid tells you most of the story, so that is where we start: colour, smell and debris. Burnt fluid or metal in the pan is a unit we do not sell. We then shift through every gear range and record the result on the listing.
The case, bellhousing and mounting points are checked for cracks, and the torque converter for play. The donor vehicle and its mileage are verified and published, because a transmission from a 70,000-mile car is a different proposition from one with unknown history.
Why the exact match matters more than on most parts
Transmissions vary by engine, drivetrain, gear ratio and bellhousing pattern within the same model and year. A unit that looks identical can be wrong in a way you only discover on the lift, which is the single most common reason a used transmission gets returned.
That is why we match against the VIN rather than the model. Give us the number and we confirm the ratio, the pattern and the code before anything ships.
Signs your transmission is failing
Slipping between gears, a delay before the car engages drive or reverse, harsh or unpredictable shifts, whining that changes with road speed, or a burning smell. On a manual, difficulty selecting gears or a clutch that bites at the very top.
Some of these are fixable without replacing the unit — a solenoid, a sensor, or simply fluid that is overdue. Worth confirming the diagnosis before you commit to a transmission.
What to replace at the same time
Fresh fluid and filter on first fill, a new gasket, and the torque converter unless it comes with the unit. The rear main seal is worth doing while access is easy, as are the mounts. On a manual, replace the clutch, release bearing and spigot bearing while the box is out.
Most transmissions that fail soon after a swap were starved of fluid or fitted with a tired converter, not faulty in themselves.

Common questions
Will it fit my car?
Every part is matched to your VIN before it ships. Give us the VIN and we confirm the exact year, engine and trim the part came from and whether it fits yours — that check happens before you are charged, not after delivery.
What warranty comes with it?
Warranty up to 1 year. The exact term depends on the part and is shown on its listing, so you know it before you buy rather than after. Your order number is your warranty number — there is no separate certificate to keep.
How long does delivery take?
Most parts ship to all 50 states in 3–5 business days. If yours needs longer, we tell you before dispatch. Delivery is charged separately, and you see the exact charge before you pay: on the product page and at checkout for listed parts, or in your quote for parts we source. Canada delivery is confirmed at quote.
Are these new or used?
OEM used parts only — never aftermarket, never a third-party copy. Every unit came off a real vehicle and is tested before it leaves us.
Does a used transmission need programming?
Some modern units need to be relearned or coded to the vehicle after fitting, particularly where the transmission control module is integrated. Ask us about a specific unit and we will tell you before you buy.
