Used Auto Parts FAQ
The things people ask us most before sending a quote request.
What condition are your parts in?
Every part we sell is a used OEM part, made by your vehicle's original manufacturer. Used parts are pulled from low-mileage donor vehicles and functionally tested. Each one is inspected before it leaves our warehouse, and every listing states its condition.
How do you make sure the part fits my car?
Fitment is confirmed before anything ships. Enter your VIN and we decode the exact year, make, model, trim and engine, then match it against a year-range compatibility table rather than guessing. If you don't have the VIN to hand, Year/Make/Model works too — the VIN is simply more precise.
What do VIN and OEM actually mean?
VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number — your car's unique 17-character ID. It pins down the exact vehicle that rolled off the line, engine and trim included, so we can match a part to it rather than guess. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer — a part made by your vehicle's original manufacturer, the same part the car was built with, not an aftermarket copy of it.
What warranty do I get?
Up to 1 year. Each part carries its own warranty term, shown on its listing before you buy and printed on your invoice. Cover runs from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship; if a part fails within its term, we ship a replacement at no charge.
Do I pay when I request a quote?
No. Requesting a quote is free and carries no obligation. You send the vehicle and the part you need, a specialist sources it and confirms fitment, and you get a firm price before deciding anything. Parts already listed in our catalogue can be bought outright instead, at the price shown.
How much is shipping?
Delivery is charged separately, and you see the exact charge before you pay: on the product page and at checkout for listed parts, or in your quote for parts we source. Some parts are quoted on request. Delivery to Canada is confirmed at quote.
How quickly will my part ship?
Most parts ship to all 50 states in 3–5 business days, tracked and insured. If yours needs longer, we tell you before dispatch, not after you have paid.
Which makes do you cover?
Parts for 34 manufacturers — domestic, European and Asian — including Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jeep, Ram, Subaru and Tesla. If your make isn't in the list on this page, ask anyway; we source well beyond it.
What if the part doesn't fit or arrives faulty?
We sort it out. Because fitment is verified against your VIN before dispatch, mismatches are rare, and when they happen we put them right: if a part doesn't fit because we matched it to your VIN wrongly, we cover the return shipping. Your part's warranty (up to 1 year; the exact term is on its listing and invoice) covers the part, and our returns policy covers the order.
What is the return policy?
You may return any unused, uninstalled part in its original packaging within 30 days for a refund. Parts that arrive damaged or defective are covered by your warranty and can be returned at any time. Start a return from your account dashboard or by calling our support line. If the return is because of our mistake — a wrong part, a part that doesn't fit because we matched it to your VIN wrongly, or one that arrived faulty — we refund the delivery charge as well; otherwise the part is refunded and the original delivery charge isn't.
Is checkout secure?
Absolutely. All transactions are processed through Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest standard for payment security. We never store your full card number on our servers. The site uses TLS 1.3 encryption end-to-end.
